Tue, April 15, 2008 - 5:46 AMalot of the crew that did Big Rig Jig are from new york, but most of the work was done in Oakland, and alot of Bay people helped out.
There's a retarded amount of burners here, and they're all doing their own thing. i think there's a happy hour tonight, tomorrow and thurs this week. and then i play a freaky carnie show on Saturday. -

Re: any New York Burners? april 14-28
Tue, April 15, 2008 - 6:00 AMSlimehag does a great job of compiling all the events that come across the email list up here. he does miss a few things from time to time, and or mis-lists stuff (the "Lose Your Shit IV" party showing for thurs this week was actually last Saturday).
but what you really should come see is me playing this Saturday with a 30-piece brass band:
(warning: shameless self-promotion ahead)

From Marseille, France, Fanfare Samenakoa interprets the street music of France's oldest city in an fresh, original and amusing way! HMB and Samenakoa first crossed paths in the summer of 2007 in Marseille, where together they brought the house down at famous local music venue Balthazar. This May, they join us here in New York for a whirlwind tour hosted by HMB. This boat cruise will be a rare opportunity to catch both bands in one venue!
