I believe until the details are finalized, the Powers That Be have opted not to heavily advertise. As far as changing the date, I suspect the process is too far along to shift now, but I'm not in charge, and will leave the official response to them!

While I respect the concept of including and accommodating Austin, my understanding is that they specifically failed to answer attempts to avoid scheduling conflicts, and thus I will totally understand if our leaders don't bend over backwards after the fact to accommodate the dozen or so people changing our date might possibly attract. Just my 2¢- I heart Austin!!
