My history?...LOL we should do that over a few pints:)
However I have been to a few east coast events PDF, Wildfire and I love hanging out and spinning with the Phily crew when I get a chance. I will get a date asap.

::Shudder:: OMG, you are a pilot? A TEST pilot? I'm so wet! :) So, um, yeah, not sure how you found us, but Burner or not, if you have time off, I'd love to buy you a pint and direct you toward the funses. I'm usually pretty good at the mind-reading, just a little distracted of late what with my life disintegrating around me. Hit us up with your availability and I'll do my best shot at navigator/air traffic controller.

Have you been to any Burn events? How did you find us? That's what I mean by pedigree- what's your history and who are your people? Please advise- I know you're not long-winded in this format, but my ability to serve you and fit you with the proper environment and activities is mitigated and/or modified by the data you provide.

Sat-commingly,

Yes...that's correct!!! There I go expecting people to read my mind again, I have a bad habit of that. There might be a name for my illness?

I wish I worked standard human work hours LOL...but unfortunately I don't know until I get there. I hope to get at least one day off over the weekend, I will let you know as soon as I do. I am a safety pilot for experimental unmanned air vehicles and we are doing some testing. Ironically I don't like computer very much so I am relatively short winded on them :P

As far as a Burn pedigree...well...I don't even know what that means but I love good company, fire and I have been called a Burner on occasion.

Thanks for the reply!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Jeff! OK, now I get it- you're from out of town! I thought you were local Dallas-folk and you were headed down to Ft. Hood for work from here, and wondering if there's a Burn community in Killeen!!

Herein lies the rub- it's about a 3 hour drive from Ft. Hood to Dallas, depending on traffic. You might be better able to find some fellowship in Austin, which is about an hour from Ft. Hood, depending on which part of the Post- as you may or may not know, it's a big place, just like Texas!!

Anyway, I will cross-post this to your thread on the same subject, but I suspect you have yet to receive a response based upon unclear search parameters, LOL! So let me make some assumptions...

Assuming you work relatively standard human-American work hours, i.e. 9-5 +/-2 hours, then you'd be a bit hard pressed to zip up to our area during the work week. Not that it can't be done, but I think I'd only make the trip if I had some pretty solid target activities to attend. Assuming further that you don't work weekends, or that you have more availability during the weekend, then perhaps you seek fellowship and Burneriffic fun during the days/nights of Friday June 12-Sunday June 14?

Please confirm and/or expound upon your availability and I'll see if I can make some suggestions. We're somewhat a fly-by-the-seat-of-our-kilts kinda folk, so while I can't think of anything stellar already on the books for those dayas, that doesn't mean something won't arise. In any case, i will try and keep you in le loop!

What sort of work do you do that brings you to Texas? What's your Burn pedigree? Tell us more about yourself, please- I'm very interested!

Inquiringly & Hopefully Meetingly,
